Dmitry Aleksandrovich Razumovich is involved in politically motivated repressions in the Republic of Belarus. Razumovich is responsible for the fact that, as a judge of the Orsha and Orsha district court, he makes politically motivated sentences against representatives of civil society. As a result of his decisions, Belarusians who opposed the repressive regime in force in the country were sentenced to various terms of imprisonment. In particular, on June 10, 2022, the judge sentenced political prisoners Vyacheslav Lyutynsky and Dmitry Matusevich to two years of restriction of freedom and sent to an open institution. Also, on January 4, 2022, for comments on the Internet, Razumovich sentenced a resident of Orsha to restriction of freedom with a transfer to an open institution for a period of two years. Thus, Dmitry Razumovich’s work within the judicial system is focused on maintaining the positions of the existing government, and not on complying with the law. Razumovich's actions contribute to human rights violations, strengthening the power of Alexander Lukashenko and increasing politically motivated repression in the Republic of Belarus.
