He was arrested in September 2024 and convicted twice under administrative law (Part 2, Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus). A criminal case was subsequently opened. He was most likely held in Pretrial Detention Center No. 6 before his trial.

After graduating from university in 2010, he joined the police. He served as a district police officer and in the juvenile affairs inspectorate. Armen Arzumanyan is 44 years old. He is originally from Azerbaijan, but has lived in Belarus almost his entire life and holds Belarusian citizenship. Armen competed on "The X Factor" first in 2018 in Ukraine and then in 2021 in Belarus. However, his main business is selling gifts. For over 15 years, Armen has owned gift shops, most recently Podari Minsk. In his spare time, he rescues homeless animals.

He is accused of “calling for sanctions” and “slandering Lukashenko.”
