In 2009, Yana graduated from the Faculty of Geography at BSU and initially worked as a deputy director at a tourism center in a city in the Minsk region. But then she found a vacancy in IT and spent over eight years as an HR manager at the sports analytics company InStat Sports Co.
In 2023, Yana decided to change careers and transitioned to QA testing. For the past two years, she worked as a QA engineer at Sequoia, a startup focused on men's sexual health. There, she conducted all types of mobile app testing.

Until 2020, Pelageya worked at the same kindergarten #518 where her parents worked. She participated in protests and moved to Ukraine in September 2021. With the outbreak of full-scale war, she decided not to leave for a safer country but to volunteer. In addition to her main job (SMM and graphic design), Pelageya evacuates civilians and coordinates volunteer efforts in response to missile strikes.
Pelageya was always in touch with her parents, didn't hide her activities, and sent them videos. Tatyana and Dmitry's daughter believes that "their only 'crime' was that I was in Ukraine, and we stayed in touch, calling each other. And my parents were worried about me. It turns out that's what the services were using as a basis for their wild imagination."
