He was arrested in December 2025, three months after returning to Belarus. He is charged under Part 2 of Article 361-3 of the Criminal Code for two small monetary transfers for humanitarian aid to Belarusian volunteers defending Ukraine as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The donations were reportedly made using cryptocurrency.
Dmitry built his career in mobile product promotion, starting in advertising agencies and working at Zorka.Mobi. Since 2019, he has held the position of Senior User Acquisition Manager at the popular weather forecast service WindyApp, where he managed the marketing team and analyzed digital data.
Dmitry had been working in Poland for the last few years, but then returned to Belarus. Three months after his return, on December 16, 2025, he was arrested.

After the sentence comes into effect, it is only possible to write letters to a prisoner. ✍️️ Remember that every letter is censored. This means that your letters are read by strangers whose main goal is to limit inmates' access to information or to use it against the prisoners or even you.

👉 statements against the authorities and public servants
👉 foul language
👉 discussion of the circumstances of the criminal case
