Ruslan Musvydas will be tried for participating in protests. Artist-vocalist (soloist) in the National Academic Concert Orchestra of Belarus named after M. Finberg.
He won many festivals and vocal competitions, and now he chooses the winners himself: he was on the jury of the X Factor Belarus project, which took place on the Belarus 1 TV channel. Musvidas appears at most state concerts - at holidays, Slavic Bazaar, republican prom and so on, and appears in New Year's television concerts. Anton was detained at the end of May. During his arrest, he was accused of numerous actions: participation in protests, insults in the comments of the propagandist Azarenka, leaking the “Black Book of Belarus” and registration in the chatbot of the “Peramoga” plan.
As evidence of “protest activities,” the security forces then showed footage of the book “Revolution” by Viktor Martinovich, which was found in Anton’s possession during a search.
As a result, he will be tried for participating in post-election protests.
Elena, a mother of many children, was detained in the spring of 2024. She was initially convicted in an administrative case for “disobeying a lawful order or demand of an official,” but later a criminal case was opened, in which she was convicted of “participating in group actions that grossly violate public order.”
She was released in November 2024 as part of a pardon.
