Andrei was arrested in June 2021 in connection with a criminal case opened under the articles "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order," "illegal actions in relation to firearms, ammunition, and explosives," and "insulting Lukashenko."
In September 2021, he was found guilty of participating in the 2020 post-election protests in Minsk, insulting Lukashenko on YouTube, and purchasing, storing, and transporting a bulk substance without notifying authorized authorities.
In June 2022, Andrei faced a court hearing for "malicious disobedience to the demands of the prison administration," which resulted in his prison term being extended and the prison regime being tightened.
In January 2023, another court hearing was held on charges of "disobeying the administration's demands." As a result, the total sentence was seven years in prison.
Since April 2024 and as of early December of that year, Andrei's family has had no news of him. Their inquiries to the prison administration were met with a formal response, stating that he would report everything himself "through correspondence," but no letters have been received from him.

After the sentence comes into effect, it is only possible to write letters to a prisoner. According to article 85 of the Penal Enforcement Code, prisoners cannot receive money transfers from persons who are not family members. Parcels are also only possible from relatives. Alexei, a writer and teacher of Belarusian language and literature, was arrested in August 2021 as part of a criminal case opened under the article "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them." In November of that year, he was convicted for participating in a post-election protest that took place from August 9 to 10, 2020, in Minsk.

In December 2024, a court hearing in absentia was held as part of a special proceeding on the issue of replacing the restriction of freedom with a referral to imprisonment in a penal colony.
Alexander was arrested and convicted for participating in protests against the presidential election results in Minsk on August 9–10, 2020. He was accused of blocking roads, erecting barricades, and allegedly “throwing plants from flowerbeds at police officers.”
In mid-April 2022, it became known that Alexander's punishment had been toughened, transferring him to a prison regime for a period of two years.
Released in August 2024, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court
Artem was arrested on October 19, 2020 and sentenced to three years in prison in an open-type correctional facility for participating in protests against the election results in Minsk in August 2020. In early February 2022, Artem escaped from the correctional facility, but was later arrested again.
In April 2022, the court considered the case of Artem's transfer to a different type of correctional facility and changing the conditions of his sentence. The court ordered that he be sent to a penal colony for nine months.
He was released in March 2023, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
