The case file notes that the woman “violated public order, disobeyed the legal demands of government officials.” Valentina went out onto the roadway, was in the forefront of the protesters, the investigation claims, and thereby disrupted the work of public transport in the city of Zhlobin.

It should be noted that more than once I heard from witnesses at similar trials that the movement of buses in the city of Zhlobin was changed by the authorities themselves and no protesters interfered with them.

Trial outcome 20.09.2023:

1.5 years of restriction of freedom without direction.

Convicted for participating in the "Peace and Independence March" on August 30, 2020. At the trial, Stanislav admitted guilt. According to Stanislav , he moved both along the roadway and on the sidewalk; on the way, someone from the crowd handed him a white-red-white flag, with which he took a photo on his mobile phone. That day he was wearing a black T-shirt with the emblem of the “Pahonia” coat of arms, which was subsequently discovered during a personal search of him. He left the white-red-white flag, which one of the protesters gave him during the protest march, to be kept at his place of residence.

Design engineer at Naftan, is deputy head of the independent trade union of Naftan workers. He was detained on September 27, 2021 at his workplace. In the Novopolotsk GAUS, a protocol was drawn up against the man under art. 19.11 Code of Administrative Offenses (distribution of information products containing calls for extremist activities or promoting such activities). The offense, according to the police, is that on his Instagram page “Alexander distributed an information product included in the republican list of extremist materials.” A screenshot of the publication was attached to the written materials of the case, in which a man stands with a poster “I/we are TUT.by.”

Alexander’s case was reviewed on October 1 by Novopolotsk district judge Zinaida Balabolova. Balonkin did not admit his guilt at the trial and tried to find out how the police discovered that this was his Instagram page. According to Alexander, he does not have a personal page, so he does not know who owns the publication. Despite this, Judge Balabolova arrested the man for 15 days precisely because of the “extremist” logo in the photo on Instagram.

In August 2023, he was detained along with other members of the independent trade union "Naftan": Olga Britikova and Alexander Kukharenok.

In fact, it is known that on August 9, 2020, she was at work and in the evening she went home to her parents. Walking past the World of Products store, I saw a large crowd of people, opposite whom stood police officers armed with special equipment.

Valeria became interested in what was happening and she approached the people. During the investigation and trial, she explained that she did not call anyone to participate in the event, just as she was not called. She said that she got there by accident, but at the same time, the woman admitted her guilt.
