Anatoly is 59 years old. He studied at the Minsk Radiotechnical College and then went to work at the district communications center in Baranovichi. In 1996, he co-founded the local newspaper "Shag" (Step). It was one of the city's first private newspapers and once one of the most popular, with a circulation of 11,000. The newspaper has now been restructured as a purely advertising publication. Anatoly has become an entrepreneur, selling medical supplies and other health products. He is accused of posting comments on Telegram against the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the violence committed by security forces.
Anatoly managed to leave the country.
However, in early 2026, Anatoly returned to Belarus from political exile. Prior to this, he and his neighbor, Vladimir Usser, had appeared in a propaganda film by Belarusian Television. After Usser's death, Voitekhovsky wrote to the repatriation commission. Right at the border, he gave another interview to Belarusian Television.
