Ilya was detained in March 2021 and convicted of "participation in group actions that grossly violate public order" and under the article on "hooliganism" for damaging two Beltelecom cameras and making "cynical inscriptions". This happened as part of a criminal case opened after a protest that took place on September 13, 2020 in Brest. During the protest, people sang and danced in circles, and a water cannon was used against them.

Ilya managed to leave Belarus before he began serving his sentence.

In February 2025, as part of the special proceedings on Ilya's case, a court hearing in absentia was held on the issue of "replacing the restriction of freedom with referral to an open-type correctional facility with imprisonment."

Two criminal cases were initiated against Andrey: under article 361 of the Criminal Code (“Calls for actions damaging national security”) and under article 368 of the Criminal Code (insulting the president). The case for insulting the president was initiated after Andriy's interview dated March 29, 2021, which, according to the prosecutor's office, contained calls for protests on his behalf, as well as language and expressions publicly insulting the president.

Andrei's wife, activist Polina Sharendo-Panasyuk, is in custody on a criminal case of violence against police officers, insulting the president and officials. There are two children in the family.

Andrey Sharendo has been under house arrest since May 31.

Editor-in-chief of the political and economic block at TUT.BY, journalist. Olga graduated from three universities - BSU, BGEU and Oxford University, and on Tut.by, together with analyst Sergei Chaly, she hosted the program "Economics on the fingers". The measure of restraint was changed on March 17, 2022.

Olga was detained on May 18, 2021, as part of a criminal case initiated against TUT.BY for tax evasion on an especially large scale (Part 2 of Article 243 of the Criminal Code). She is also charged under Part 3 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code (incitement of other social hatred committed by a group of persons) and Part 3 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code (calls for sanctions committed using the media).

On March 17, 2022, Olga Loika, editor-in-chief of the political and economic news block, Alexander Daineko, deputy general director for technical issues, and Andrey Avdeyev, manager of Publisher Box, were released from SIZO-1. Their preventive measure was changed, the charges were not dropped.
