Yuri was arrested right at his workplace, at the Euroopt store. According to the prosecution, he reposted a post on his Odnoklassniki page criticizing the election campaign and results, which was deemed slanderous and attributable to Lukashenko serious crimes. He also published the same material on the Telegram channels "Krynica-Chat" and "Ikhtyandry Grodna." The court sentenced him to restricted freedom with a referral order. Yuri remained in custody pending sentencing.
