He was never released, as a criminal case was opened against him for organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or actively participating in them, as well as for comments that he left on the Internet back in 2020: “Buy fireworks , checkers, lasers, helmets, shields, respirators and let’s fight back against fascism! We need to decentralize the exits in each district, block the roads, paralyze all traffic. ".
It is known that Alexey was born in Gomel, worked as a freight forwarder, and has a secondary specialized education.
On October 6, 2023, Alexey’s appeal was considered.
According to human rights activists, he will be released in the spring of 2024, having fully served the sentence imposed by the court.
