The basis for the criminal case against Alesya Borisova was a comment on Odnoklassniki regarding two police officers from Dubrovno: senior inspector of the law enforcement and prevention department of the Dubrovno District Department of Internal Affairs, Aleksandr Shlupakov , and detective of the drug control and human trafficking group of the Dubrovno District Department of Internal Affairs, Sergei Shramov .
On June 17, 2021, a photo of Shramov and Shlupakov appeared on one of the Odnoklassniki pages with the caption: "These employees, risking their lives, confiscated the balloons." Borisova, as she admitted in court, added the comment: "Two morons are a force."
She was released in the spring of 2024, having fully served her sentence imposed by the court.
