The young man was a first-year student, but after February 24 of this year, according to his testimony in court, he became less interested in his studies. He began looking for ways to help the Ukrainian side win.
During the court hearing, the young man explained his version of events: he decided to go to Ukraine to provide any assistance that might be needed. But the priority of assistance would be medical first, then logistical and technical.
On June 6, 2023, a young man was tried in Bobruisk under Part 1 of Article 411 of the Criminal Code for "malicious disobedience to the demands of the administration of a correctional facility."
He was released at the end of May 2025, having served his full sentence.

✍️️ Remember that every letter is censored. This means that your letters are read by strangers whose main goal is to limit inmates' access to information or to use it against the prisoners or even you.
So try to avoid:
👉️️ harsh statements regarding ongoing political matters
👉 statements against the authorities and public servants
👉 foul language
👉 discussion of the circumstances of the criminal case
