Andrei, a deputy production director, was arrested in May 2021 on charges of participating in a post-election protest that took place on November 1, 2020, in Minsk.
In October 2021, he was convicted of participating in the organization of protests for posting a video of security forces' special equipment moving along Independence Avenue, along with a message listing its name, to the Telegram channels "Nexta" and "Nexta Live." He was also found guilty of "illegal drug trafficking without intent to sell," as approximately two grams of marijuana were found during a search of his person, which he voluntarily surrendered to law enforcement officers.
He was released in September 2023, having fully served his sentence.
