Egor was arrested and convicted of spraying a pepper spray into a police officer's face on August 9, 2020, in Babruisk during the dispersal of a protest against election fraud, as well as for hitting him in the head. At the trial, he claimed that he had not hit anyone, explaining that the injuries would have been more serious. Egor has extensive experience in martial arts, regularly participating in the Strelka street fights and winning the RB Open MMA Cup.
He was released in July 2022, having served his full sentence as determined by the court.
