Eldar Safarov is known for his work on a number of high-profile trials. In 2010, he was a prosecutor at the trial of the politically motivated case of an entrepreneur from Vaukavysk, Mikola Autukhovich.
Safarov left the authorities in the fall of 2020 - due to the events of the summer and autumn of 2020.
On December 24, 2023, it became known that Eldar and his family were at large.
