Elena was an election observer in August 2020. She was arrested on December 9, 2021, as part of a criminal case opened under the article "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them."
In the spring of 2022, Elena was found guilty, allegedly for participating in protests that took place in Minsk in 2020.
