Evgeniy was detained on January 18, 2022, when he arrived in Grodno from Germany.
Evgeny told security forces on camera that in 2020 he was a member of chat rooms deemed extremist, where he called for mass riots, the killing of police officers, and the burning of Tabakerok stores.
Evgeniy has family in Denmark.
Once the sentence takes effect, you can only write letters to the prisoner. Under Art. 85 of the Penal Code of Belarus, convicts cannot receive money transfers from anyone other than close relatives.
