Igor, an activist from Pruzhany, was arrested in March 2021 in a criminal case opened after a protest that took place on September 13, 2020, in Brest. The participants were singing and dancing in circles, but a water cannon was used against them. He and his wife were convicted of "participating in group actions that grossly violate public order", despite the fact that they are the parents of three children. According to the prosecution, the downtime of the trolleybus and bus depot caused damages in the amount of about 660 Belarusian rubles.
He was released in June 2023, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
