On the night of October 28-29, 2020, he was detained while crossing the border of Belarus. Igor was charged under articles 289, 295 and 333-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
On August 8, 2022, by court decision he was transferred to prison regime.
As it became known in early July 2024, for a week now Igor has been not in prison in Zhodino, but in a hospital in Kolyadichi. Details are not known at this time .
