Irina was detained on June 25, 2025. As she was leaving the oncology center, several people in full gear and with batons jumped out at the woman, grabbed her, and placed her in their minibus. This happened in front of the patients and medical staff working at the oncology center.
Irina has a complex form of lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The lack of proper treatment may lead to the patient's death. Irina Levina was detained by punitive forces in connection with some politically motivated case. Most likely, the detention was carried out by GUBOPiK officers. The essence of the charges is still unknown.
She was heldin pretrial detention facility No. 3.As of August 2025, Irina's preventive measure was changed , and she is no longer in a pretrialdetention facility .
