Pavel is an activist of "European Belarus" and a member of the "Zubr" movement. Due to his opposition activities, he has been repeatedly subjected to repression.
On September 25, 2020, he was detained along with other activists and later charged with participating in "mass riots."
Trial outcome 25.05.2021: 5 years of imprisonment in colony under enhanced security conditions.
Appeal 27.08.2021: the sentence was upheld.
