Pavel was found guilty in a criminal case brought under the article on insulting a government official for a comment left on November 24, 2020, in the Telegram channel "Punishermen of Belarus" regarding the prosecutor of the city of Navahrudak, A.V. Shlyazhko.
According to human rights activists, he was released in December 2023, having fully served his sentence.
