A pro-government Telegram channel has published a video that uses fragments of video footage from a protest march in Glubokoe, which took place on August 16, 2020. It was the largest march in the regional center, when participants left the sidewalks for the roadway. In the video, three Glubokoe residents admit that they were actually participants in that march. The "video production" of the Telegram channel's authors also contains footage of the brutal detentions of several men. Pavel is also in this video.
Some of the detainees were taken to the Vitebsk pretrial detention center. They are charged under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (Participation in actions that grossly violate public order).
