According to the prosecution, on July 18, 2021, in a group called “Online Brest” on the social network “Vkontakte,” Pavel Korolevich posted a message that humiliated the honor and dignity of Alexander Lukashenko and is offensive to him. Also on August 11, 2021, he posted another offensive message in the same community.
In court, Korolevich partially pleaded guilty, since he made offensive comments in relation to Lukashenko specifically, and not in relation to the President of the Republic of Belarus in connection with the performance of his official duties.
