Actor of the Polesky Drama Theater, volunteer. He was detained on May 5, 2021. He is known in Pinsk as an organizer of cultural events and a volunteer at the city hospital; he is raising a child with a disability.
According to the indictment, on the night of August 9-10, 2020, residents of Pinsk (including Sergey) allegedly took part in mass riots that involved violence against police officers, pogroms and destruction of property near the building of the Pinsk District Executive Committee, thereby grossly violating public order. The protesters hit police officers with their hands, feet and various objects: boards, sticks, street trash cans, fragments of paving slabs and concrete parapet slabs, bottles, stones, metal products and reinforcement. After this, vehicles and other property belonging to the Department of Internal Affairs, individuals and legal entities were destroyed and damaged.
As a result, 109 police officers were recognized as victims in the case; they suffered minor bodily injuries that did not result in short-term health problems.
Trial outcome 06.07.2024: 4 years of imprisonment in colony under general regime conditions.
