Viktor was convicted in a criminal case brought for participating in protests that took place from August 9 to 11, 2020 in Zhlobin against the results of the presidential elections.

In October 2021, he was convicted again for “offensive actions against the state symbol - the flag.”

He was released in June 2023, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
