Resident of the village of Shchorsy, Novogrudok district. He was accused of reposting a message from the group “Grodno Region of Changes!” on his page on the Odnoklassniki social network. The message itself was dedicated to two employees of penal institutions.
Before the trial, a preventive measure in the form of house arrest was applied to Viktor Pilzhis - from September 12, 2022. This means that Pilzhis was forbidden to leave the house, use the Internet and communications.
In addition to the sentence of two years in prison, the court ordered Viktor Pilzhis to pay two security officials 10,000 Belarusian rubles as compensation for their moral damage.
On December 6, 2022, the appeal was considered and the verdict entered into force.
