Vladimir was arrested in September 2021 in connection with a criminal case opened for online comments following the deaths of KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk and IT specialist Andrei Zeltser in Minsk.
In November 2022, he was found guilty of "inciting hatred or discord," "insulting a government official," and "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them," and sentenced to imprisonment and a large fine.
He was released in January 2023, having fully served his sentence.
In May 2023, Vladimir's arrest was announced in a new criminal case, opened under the articles "insulting a government official" and "insulting Lukashenko." In December of that year, he was again found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment in a penal colony.
He was released in November 2024, having fully served his sentence.
