Vladimir conducted training and educational courses on financial management for companies. His last known position was as a financial controller at Belkanton Group, a large office supply company that also owns the Afiston chain of stores and Office Life magazine. According to his LinkedIn profile, Vladimir resigned no later than July 2023. He was presumably detained upon returning to Belarus after a vacation. His sole proprietorship activities were suspended on November 5, 2023.
Vladimir has a son (12 years old) waiting for him at home.
On July 19, 2024, the appeal was heard and the verdict came into force.
He is expected to be released in the summer of 2026.
