Vyacheslav was found guilty in October 2021 of "insulting Lukashenko" for posting leaflets with the texts "Adolf Grigoryevich Lukashenko" and "We need a corpse in a king's clothes, not a living idiot at the helm."
He was released in December 2023, having fully served his sentence.
After his release, political persecution against Vyacheslav continued, and he was forced to leave Belarus.
