According to human rights activists, he was released on October 20, 2023,having fully served the sentence imposed by the court.

Svetlana was accused of hooliganism for the fact that on September 2, 2020, at the pro-government rally βFor a United Belarusβ in Novaya Borovaya, she tore off a plastic flagpole from one car and hit a Land Rover car participating in it several times. Olga Marshalovich (Syshchenko), one of the organizers of the pro-government motor rallies after the 2020 presidential elections, was recognized as a victim in the case.
First, the girl was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest, and then re-detained in a criminal case.
On March 16, 2023, a court hearing was held to replace the sentence of restriction of freedom with a referral to an open correctional institution to serve a sentence of restriction of freedom without being sent to an open correctional institution.
