Daniil, a history student at the Belarusian State University, was detained on September 29, 2021, in Minsk in a criminal case opened for comments on the Internet after the death of KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk and IT specialist Andrei Zeltser in a Minsk apartment.

Almost a year and a half later, he was found guilty of “inciting hatred or discord” and “participating in group actions that grossly violate public order.” The basis for the second charge was that during the protests, he bandaged the injured leg of a guy who had an injured ankle.

He was released in April 2023, having fully served his sentence.

According to the prosecution, Gennady, "acting out of political and ideological hatred, committed a number of crimes between June 23, 2020, and October 2021." He also "produced and posted negative, obscene, and unacceptable" statements about Lukashenko online.

Denis was arrested in August 2021 as part of a criminal case opened under the article "organizing or actively participating in group actions that grossly violate public order." In November of that year, he was convicted for participating in a post-election protest that took place in Minsk in August 2020. It is known that he endured a great deal during that protest, including beatings and abuse.

In February 2022, Denis began serving his sentence in an open-type correctional facility, but in the spring of 2023, the regime was tightened, and he was transferred to a penal colony.
