Accomplice to crimes against the rights and freedoms of citizens of Belarus. In 2019, Korol Alexander Vladimirovich acted as a state prosecutor in the case against anarchist activist Dmitry Polienko. He was supposed to be tried under four articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus behind closed doors, but when Dmitry found out about this, he inflicted injuries to his veins at the beginning of the hearing in protest. After that, Korol dropped the previous charges under three articles of the Criminal Code, and the trial was made open. Korol also supported the prosecution in the case against political prisoner artist Ales Pushkin. The trial was held behind closed doors, but it is known that at one of the trials, Ales Pushkin inflicted injuries to himself in the abdomen in protest. On July 11, 2023, Ales Pushkin died in the intensive care unit of a penal colony under unknown circumstances. Sentences were passed on political prisoners Maria Kolesnikova and Maksim Znak based on Korol's charges. In 2021, Alexander Korol received the Medal for Labor Merit from Alexander Lukashenko. Thus, Korol Alexander Vladimirovich is responsible for human rights violations and the undermining of the rule of law, as well as for facilitating repression against representatives of civil society and the democratic opposition, which also results in the death of people persecuted by the regime. His work in the prosecutor's office is focused on maintaining the position of the existing government, rather than on upholding the law. Korol's actions contribute to human rights violations, strengthening the power of Alexander Lukashenko and intensifying politically motivated repression in the Republic of Belarus.
