Anarchist activist Alexander was detained on August 12, 2020 and convicted on a number of criminal charges. Earlier, in 2010, he had already served a sentence in the "anarchist case".

In 2022, he was sentenced to 17 years in prison, and in February 2023, the Supreme Court reduced the term by 3 months.

In June 2024, Alexander was again charged under the article for "malicious disobedience to the demands of the colony administration," and he was given another year of imprisonment.

In July 2024, his mother, Tatyana Frantskevich, was arrested on charges of "participation in an extremist group." Her sister, Natalia Lobatsevich, the mother of former political prisoner Ilya Lobatsevich, was arrested along with her.

Denis Nikita was arrested on the evening of January 25, 2024, for petty hooliganism. He was taken to the police station. He objected to the arrest and allegedly began hurling insults and threats at police officers, including mentioning Lukashenko. According to police, the 38-year-old had been doing this for a long time and had repeatedly humiliated them. As a result, a criminal case was opened. He was tried publicly in the Svisloch District Executive Committee building. The district newspaper reported on the trial, stating that "representatives of the public" and the media were present at the hearing. Denis Nikita pleaded guilty.

This is reportedly the defendant's 11th conviction. He has been convicted of theft, torture, threats to kill, and violation of preventive supervision requirements, and has been subject to administrative penalties on multiple occasions. Furthermore, he has been stripped of parental rights to his two children.

On May 23, 2024, Denis had his appeal heard and the verdict came into force.

According to information published in the pro-government video, Alexander Malikov, in December 2021, left an offensive comment on one of the social networks addressed to the commander of a military unit based in the Lida region. The defendant’s last posts on social networks date back to October 2023. Presumably, that's when he was detained.
