Pavel was arrested and taken into custody.
Vyacheslav was accused of writing an obscene comment, “degrading the honor and dignity of the victim” on one of the social networks under a photograph of Vladimir Karanik, “with the aim of publicly insulting a government official in connection with the performance of his official duties.”
According to human rights activists, he will be released in the spring of 2024 , having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.

The victims were policemen Kolyada and Tarasevich.
