Evgeny was convicted of actively participating in "mass riots" in central Zhlobin on the night of August 9-10, 2020. He and others obstructed public transportation and retail operations, formed a chain of vehicles, and disobeyed police orders. He was held in pretrial detention pending trial, but the exact date of his arrest is unknown.
Vitaly was arrested on September 29, 2021, in connection with a criminal case opened for online comments following the deaths of KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk and IT specialist Andrei Zeltser.
As the preliminary investigation established, from July to September 2021, Vitaly allegedly used his mobile phone to post several publications on the Telegram messenger containing deliberately false information about Lukashenko's activities.
The political prisoner's trial began on November 18, 2022; the decision is pending.
In March 2023, Vitaly was tried again, this time for "insulting a government official," with the outcome also unknown.
Andrei was charged with "insulting Lukashenko" and "desecrating state symbols." According to investigators, on January 22, 2021, he posted an image of Lukashenko in military uniform against a swastika on Odnoklassniki, along with a statement about the government's embrace of Nazi ideology and its undemocratic nature. His page also published an image of the Belarusian national flag within a swastika, freely viewable and copyable by users. This was classified as desecration of the flag.
Andrey was arrested on September 28, 2022, convicted in November 2022, and sentenced to restricted freedom with a referral. It is unknown whether he was held in pretrial detention or where he served his sentence.
