Koval was detained on May 28, 2023 right at the border. He was returning from a competition in Slovakia, and upon entering Belarus, Koval’s phone was asked to be checked. The man himself provided the security forces with his phone and password. During the examination, he was found to have data that was “prohibited” according to the Belarusian security forces. Since that day, Koval has been in captivity.

At the criminal trial, Koval was accused of sending a video to the Nexta Editorial telegram bot on March 27, 2022. The video showed the movement of military equipment on the MKAD ring road (around Minsk). Thus, according to the state prosecution, Koval committed a crime, because the Belarusian authorities consider Nexta an “extremist formation.”

Alexander lived alone in Polesie for a long time, so his detention became known by chance. Concerned people became worried that he had not been in touch for a long time. It turned out that Alexander was placed in Brest pre-trial detention center-7. According to unverified information, he is charged with “assisting extremist activities.”

Alexander is also the father of the guy who “dismantled” the water cannon in Minsk during the 2020 protests.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs , the man made videos with incriminating evidence, showed them to local entrepreneurs and demanded money for “silence.” He also allegedly “promoted the activities of an extremist telegram channel whose administrators are located abroad.”

On May 28, 2024, the appeal was considered and the verdict entered into force.

Detained for comments on social networks. Alexander is accused of “extremist calls inciting social hatred” and “insulting government officials.” The pro-government Telegram channel showed screenshots of messages that implicate Polivko. For example: “Collaborators and slaves, it’s disgusting to watch! So that they all get angry and impale this mustachioed fascist.”

Thus, according to the prosecution, on June 14, 2021, under the publication of the telegram channel “Belarus of the Brain,” Alexander wrote a message where he said that he once worked at Lukashenko’s residence, and one of his colleagues talked about his conversation with Lukashenko’s security guard. And according to the guard, Lukashenko personally, due to faults on the part of the guard, could put them in a row and “punch through the plywood” (strike with all his might in the chest or stomach so that the person bends over from such a blow). Apparently, this comment was written under a post with the title “BYPOL: Roman Protasevich was personally beaten by the dictator” (all comments under the post have been deleted at the moment). At the trial, Polivko was asked to name what kind of colleague told such a story - but the man could not remember either his name or other personal details, because. he worked at the residence for a very long time, around 2008-2009. But finding an ex-colleague based on documents would be unrealistic, because... they worked without official employment. He was also convicted for 4 more comments under various articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

The man left behind two minor children (they are 14 years old and 4 years old).

As follows from the press release of the Brestobl Court, Evdokimenko was charged with the fact that from August to December 2020 he transferred “personal and other personal data of employees of internal affairs bodies for public dissemination on the Internet.” At the same time, I took the data from databases to which I had access at work. Presumably he worked at the Brest BTI.

On October 10, 2024, the appeal was considered and the verdict entered into force.

Kirill has served in the police since 2007. Detective officer, left the authorities in August 2020 and moved to IT. It is known that he was detained on February 19, 2023, right at the border: he lived in Poland for six months, and came to Brest to visit his wife and small child.

Little is known about the criminal case against Kirill: the trial was held behind closed doors. It is only known that the case was connected with the “Black Book of Belarus”.

An appeal court hearing is scheduled to take place on October 10, 2023.

During the detention, “special equipment and physical force” were used against Yevgeny, according to the June 2 court decision (the man was accused of disobeying the police). He was taken out of his office in handcuffs and with a bag over his head, we know from our sources.

At the moment, Evgeny Pelekhaty is awaiting trial. He is accused of writing several tough telegram comments about Lukashenka and the security forces.

Dmytro Gudik was convicted under Article 358-1 of the Criminal Code (intelligence activity). He is a citizen of Ukraine. Mikhail Stolyarchuk, his uncle, was also tried in this criminal case. According to the prosecution, they had been collecting data on military equipment and facilities in Belarus on behalf of the Security Service of Ukraine since 2018. Igor Dirko was also detained with them, but instead of being prosecuted, he was expelled from Belarus.

Dmitry Mostovoy is 45 years old. He is a resident of Sinitsa, studied at the Polytechnic College in Minsk, a professional programmer.

He was detained during the protests in October 2020, and he was sentenced to several days of arrest.

Dmitry was detained in early March 2023. In the film «Gaspar did not get in touch» on the ONT TV channel, released on April 05, 2023. It was said in the film that Dmitry offered the telegram chat «Belarusian Gayun» to merge information about the airfield in Machulishchi: he set up an online broadcast from a computer, where all the actions taking place at the airfield for two weeks without a break were shown.

Now the man is in jail on charges of treason to the state and facilitation extremist activities.

A former MTS employee from Brest was detained in early November 2022. In the “repentance” video, he said that in 2020-2021 he worked at MTS and had access to data. According to the security officials, Andrey handed over the data of several officials and prosecutors to the Black Book of Belarus.

A former cellmate of Tsypak told human rights activists that Andrei was severely beaten during his arrest.

Andrei's case was considered behind closed doors, so the outcome of the trial is unknown to human rights activists.

Andrei Tsypak previously played in the Brest handball club named after Meshkov. From 2020 to 2021, he worked at MTS - and at that time, according to the security forces, he transferred the data of several prosecutors and government officials to the protest initiative.

He was accused of posting a satirical picture of A. Lukashenko on a social network. This was regarded as a public insult to the latter. Nikolai was awarded a colony despite the fact that he has a disability of the 2nd group of the heart.

According to the materials of the investigation, from February 2021 to October 2022, from February 2021 to October 2022, Nikolai Korol posted messages in various instant messengers in which he outlined slanderous fabrications against Lukashenko, publicly insulted him, as well as the leaders of the Central Election Commission and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, a number of other state servants and a judge.

On October 11, 2022, he, in order to facilitate the activities of the destructive Telegram channel, whose information products were previously recognized by the court as extremist materials, produced and sent a message about the movement of military aircraft in the Brest region.

Dmitry Stepanov was put in jail before the trial. At first, the man was tried under administrative articles — and then a criminal case was opened for creating an extremist formation and managing it (Part 1 of Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus). The term extremist formation refers to the local Brest telegram chat «GOBK».

In the period from August 2020 to July 26, 2022, Alexander administered the telegram chat «Zhyve Luninets!», for which he was detained on July 27, 2022.

On November 24, 2022, by the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the telegram chat «Zhyve Luninets!» was recognized as an extremist formation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

The trial of Alexander took place on February 9, 2023, where he was accused under 5 articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus: Part 1 of Article 361-1, Part 1 of Article 342, part 2 of Article 367, Article 369, part 3 of Article 361.

It is known about Alexander Sumar that in 2006 he worked in the Luninetsky district police Department as a forensic expert. In recent years, he lived in Moscow (Russia).
