After her arrest, Yulia was interrogated for six days, as a result of which she lost consciousness from exhaustion and dehydration and was hospitalized. Before her trial, she was under house arrest and convicted of "participation in group actions that grossly violate public order."
Danila, a lighting designer fired from the New Drama Theatre for going on strike, was arrested in March 2021 for “solo picketing” and given administrative arrest. Ten days later, a criminal case was opened against him and he was later convicted of “participating in group actions that grossly violate public order.”
He was released in December 2022, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
