Alexander, the manager of the York store, was arrested in November 2021 in a criminal case related to the "Busly Lyatsyats" initiative. Some of the charges concerned damaging the car of a Borisov district judge. As a result, he was sentenced to a long term of imprisonment.
In September 2023, it became known that Alexander was transferred to a hospital for convicts in the village of Kolyadichi near Minsk for a planned operation. At the end of October of the same year, he was transferred back to the penal colony.
