A citizen of the Russian Federation, a volunteer of Svetlana Tikhanovskaya's initiative group. He was detained on June 6, 2020 in Belarus, on November 26 Andrei Novikov was simply taken to the border with Russia, stamped with a ban on entry to Belarus for 10 years. He has a wife and two children in Belarus.

Andrei Novikov was detained again on April 13 in the village of Prusa, where he had secretly arrived to visit his wife and children. Novikov was charged under Article 371 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus ("Illegal crossing of the state border of the Republic of Belarus"). The charge under Article 342 of the Criminal Code has not been dropped against him either.

On October 31, 2022, he was released upon completion of his term and handed over to the FSB of the Russian Federation upon deportation from the Republic of Belarus.

Anna, director of the Polish School LLC in Brest, was detained in March 2021 upon her return to Belarus as part of a criminal case on the "glorification of war criminals". The reason for the investigation was an "illegal mass event" in memory of the "damned soldiers" that took place on February 28 in a building rented by the Brest Forum of Polish Local Initiatives and the Polish School.

At the end of May 2021, Anna was released and deported to Poland.
