Natalia was accused of making a repost on her publication page with the personal data of an employee of the internal affairs bodies. The woman also posted a photo of the security officer with her own comment about the crimes committed by him. The court decided that the information in the comment was deliberately false and discredited the employee in the eyes of society.
According to human rights activists, she was released upon expiration of her sentence.
Trial outcome 03.11.2022: 1 year of imprisonment in colony under general regime conditions, 50 basic values fine.
Appeal 16.12.2022: the sentence was upheld.
Detained with her husband Oleg Davydenko, allegedly for participating in protests in 2020. The reason for the persecution was a photo in which Davydenko stands with a banner during the 2020 protests.

Oleg Davydenko is 71 years old. His scientific and labor activity is connected with the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus. In 1990, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "cytoplasmic variability of agricultural plants". In 2000 he was elected a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. He is the author of 300 scientific papers, including 5 monographs, 1 textbook, 19 plant varieties.
