Accomplice to crimes against the rights and freedoms of citizens of Belarus. Shotik Tatyana Viktorovna is an employee of the judicial authorities involved in politically motivated repressions, in which thousands of peaceful demonstrators, several hundred journalists, human rights defenders and activists were detained and subjected to violence. She handed down guilty verdicts in politically motivated cases, where she imposed penalties in the form of a fine totaling at least 40,449 rubles and administrative arrest for a total period of at least 1,584 days. She sentenced the football player and coach Vasily Iosifovich Khomutovsky under Article 342 of the Criminal Code - Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them, and imposed a sentence of 2 years of restriction of freedom without being sent to an open correctional facility. After the 2020 elections, Vasily Khomutovsky condemned the violence of the security forces and signed up for the demand for fair elections. Before the verdict, Khomutovskaya was also arrested for 13 days for sending materials from a telegram channel recognized as extremist in Belarus. She delivered a verdict in the criminal case of political prisoner Igor Lednik, a member of the BSDP from Borisov. The veteran of the party movement was accused of slandering Lukashenko under Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code. According to the case materials, from June to December 2020, Igor Lednik submitted an article for publication to one of the magazines with the title “The internationally recognized neutrality of Belarus is a guarantee of security in the OSCE region.” This material was published in the print edition “Position” on December 28, 2020, and on June 7, 2021, posted on its website on the Internet. Also, the information products of Igor Lednik’s Facebook page were designated as containing extremist materials. Shotik sentenced Igor Lednik to imprisonment for a period of three years in a general regime colony. Igor Lednik has a 2nd group disability due to heart problems. Shotik sentenced the man to 2 years of imprisonment in a colony under general regime conditions.
