According to the indictment, Nikolai posted a video on his Instagram account in July 2021 in which he made comments about two police officers from the Berezovsky Department of the Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. The video included their photographs. His actions were classified as a crime under the article "insulting a government official," as his verbal comments contained "indecent, derogatory, and negative assessments of the victims."

In November 2021, the court sentenced Nikolai to arrest and granted the claims for moral damages to each police officer.

He was released at the end of March 2022, having fully served his sentence.

Alexey, a pensioner and former Boeing instructor pilot, was found guilty of three criminal charges: "insulting a government official," "insulting a judge," and "slander," and sentenced to restricted freedom without being sent to a correctional facility, as well as to pay substantial moral damages to the "victims."

According to the indictment, from October 2020 to March 2021, he posted comments on various Telegram channels aimed at publicly insulting and humiliating government officials. He used obscene language in his comments to negatively evaluate employees. He fully admitted his guilt.

Alexey quit his job because his health deteriorated after the first interrogation and he failed the medical examination.

Daniil, a history student at the Belarusian State University, was detained on September 29, 2021, in Minsk in a criminal case opened for comments on the Internet after the death of KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk and IT specialist Andrei Zeltser in a Minsk apartment.

Almost a year and a half later, he was found guilty of “inciting hatred or discord” and “participating in group actions that grossly violate public order.” The basis for the second charge was that during the protests, he bandaged the injured leg of a guy who had an injured ankle.

Stepan was arrested in connection with the protests in Pinsk on the night of August 9-10, 2020, and convicted of participating in "mass riots." He was accused of attempting to hit police officers, as well as hitting a shield that hit the leg of police officer Polivoda.

At the trial, Stepan explained that he tried to pass by, but was pushed by a shield, he fell, and cut his knee. According to him, the gesture that looked like a throw on the video was actually an attempt to fix his sleeve.

Dmitry was a witness in the case of Brest political prisoners and bloggers Sergei Petrukhin and Alexander Kabanov, who were sentenced to three years in prison in April 2021.
