The video shows screenshots from the chat. The explanation for the video with military equipment says that it is moving along the M1 highway towards Brest. It is unknown when this was filmed.
In the video , Alexander says that he works as a karate trainer and was charged with making a video of military equipment and posting it on an “extremist” telegram channel. The detainee also said that in 2020 he hung ribbons on poles and signs and posted leaflets along the road.

The reason for the criminal case was a woman’s comment on Instagram with the following content: “The Belarusian leadership will not do anything against the RACISTS!!! They feed her!!!!” It was this phrase that was considered “inciting hostility.”

According to the Telegram channel "Vitebsk, I'm Playing," Sergei Zaitsev was accused of writing two comments about a government official in a Telegram channel deemed "extremist," which the court deemed offensive. It is not known who exactly was offended by the Vitebsk resident's comments.
According to the prosecution, Zaitsev, while in the Russian Federation, posted a text containing a negative assessment of a government official on a Telegram channel deemed "extremist." The defendant also posted a similar insult to another government official in the Vitebsk district.
At the trial, Sergei admitted his guilt but noted that he was unaware that the victims were government officials. Zaitsev reportedly had 11 previous convictions.
As a result, on December 6, 2023, the Vitebsk District Court foundhim guilty and sentenced him to two years and six months' imprisonment and a fine of 50 basic units. By partially combining the sentence imposed under this sentence with the sentence imposed by the Pervomaisky District Court of Vitebsk on June 2, 2023, the final sentence was five years' imprisonment, to be served in a penal colony.

According to the prosecution, on July 18, 2021, Pavel Korolevich posted a message in a group called "Online Brest" on the social network "Vkontakte" that humiliated the honor and dignity of Alexander Lukashenko and was offensive to him. Also on August 11, 2021, he posted another offensive message in the same community.
In court, Korolevich partially admitted his guilt, since the offensive comments were made specifically in relation to Lukashenko, and not in relation to the President of the Republic of Belarus in connection with the performance of his official duties.
According to human rights activists, he was released on December 25, 2024, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.

The girl is a citizen of Ukraine, originally from the city of Kherson. She studied in China, graduated from the university there in 2015, and in 2016 moved to Belarus. In Belarus she worked as a translator from Chinese.
Ekaterina was detained while crossing the Belarusian border. They demanded that she give her phone for verification; she provided it to the employees along with the passwords. Belarusian security forces found that on March 30, 2022, she sent 2 videos to the chatbot of the Zerkalo editorial office. The video showed the movement of Russian military equipment near Minsk, which she herself captured.
On December 12, 2023, the appeal was considered. The verdict came into force.
On the evening of June 28, 2024, sudden information appeared about the release of five political prisoners from Belarusian colonies. The Ukrainian authorities achieved the release of their exchange citizens as prisoners. This is how Natalya Zakharenko, Pavel Kuprienko, Lyudmila Goncharenko, Ekaterina Bryukhanova, as well as Nikolai Shvets, a defendant in the “Machulishchi case,” were released.
