On August 10, 2020, Yevgeny went to the protests as a journalist. Then he was detained , first the police beat him in the toilet of the Pinsk City Executive Committee, then in a paddy wagon. Then the man was taken to the shooting range of the Pinsk City Department of Internal Affairs, where Ales Romanovich saw him badly beaten. Then the journalist was placed in the Pinsk temporary detention facility, and then taken to the pre-trial detention center of the Ivatsevichy colony, where the security forces placed some of the detainees.
A week after the beating, the journalist still had bruises. It is reported that traces of the beating remained on the man's face even a month later, including deep scars. The publication "Media-Polesie" also wrote then about the damaged eye of its employee.
Valentina has a disability and groups, lives on a pension. After the elections, she was repeatedly fined under political administrative articles. Thus, in 2021, the woman was fined 1,160 rubles for a photo with a quote from the Bible " when the wicked reigns, the people groan." This was considered "unauthorized picketing."

Lev Ivchin is 21 years old . The guy hid in Russia for a long time. This year, in the summer, he returned to Belarus, where he was detained . Lev Valerievich Ivchin is the son of political prisoner Valery Ivchin. The latter was also tried in Mogilev in June 2024 under Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus for participating in Minsk protests. The court sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months of restricted freedom with referral to a correctional institution.
